[PHOTO HEAVY] Tokyo 2014

I was really going to make a really long blog about this last year but I kept pushing it back because there was really so much things to say but now that I have looked back on it, I should just really let the pictures speak for myself.

I'm not really good at narrating what happened to me (as you can see on my older posts

) so I'll just describe the pictures I took

For a brief idea, I was at Tokyo last year for 2-3 weeks to study in a short-term Japanese Language program in Meiji University. I was chosen by my university along with 4 other people to go into this exchange program. During this program I have learned intermediate Japanese and met a lot of wonderful people from South-East Asia!

I was also able to experience the daily life of a Japanese family since I was able to stay for a short time together with a host family! (more on that later I guess

)

My host family was actually located in Kanagawa (where Yokohama is!) so it was quite a commute for me but I did manage to gain the skill of sleeping in Japanese trains so I really liked it!

[PHOTO HEAVY] Osaka : Shinsekai!!

Shinsekai is located at the south of Osaka and it's filled a lot of old-world decorations! The place was developed before world war 2 and they didn't renovate it after the war so it retained it's old-world charm! It's also famous for kushi-katsu!

Unfortunately I didn't eat kushi-katsu in Shinsekai because I really just came for the Atobe/DARS event

Last March 21st I attended a cosplay event in Nippombashi!

I attend a lot of cosplay events in the Philippines but it's my first time to attend a cosplay event in Japan so I was really looking forward to attending this event.
